    Answer Answer You have a function called 'extract' in cognos.

    Ex:- extract(month,the dte field). by giving like this you will get month. so you can keep a filter to restrict the rows only for october.

    Questions shud be more clearer. Cognos meaning , impromptu or powerplay or reportnet of cognos 8.0 ? If it is impromptu then just add a text column and connect it to data field say for eg. 'Report from to

    Cluster index work as a primary key and as we know in a single table only one primary key should be there....Hence only one records can take cluster index.
