    Answer Answer Router is a layer 3 device and it send packets to the clients. best example for this is internet connection. ISP(internet service providers)send packets to their customers through this Router.

    Router, it decides which way the request can be travelled i.e. router will select the best free device which can accept the request and produce an output. it works on the boxes connected to it.
