    Answer Answer HUb: limiteded port compare to switch.less speed compare to switch because more collision.

    Switch: To Avoid collision we use switch. In switch Each Port having own collision Domain.

    The OSI 7 layers tells us how the data is being transfered from one computer to other computer in a network. Its a layered model coz the data being transfered converts from one form to the other in each of the layers.

    1)Hub doing broadcasting for sending the query while Switch uses the unicast technique for sending query. 2)Switch has its own brain mean memory while Hub hasn't.Switch uses the MAC addresses for sending the query.

    hub shares bandwith if it is 10mbps hub speed at each port will be divided 0/10,1/10,2/10 switch each port throuput will be 100mbps.

    hub supports broadcasting n switch supports both unicasting n broadcasting..bt switch does unicasting by default... so to avoid so much traffic we use switch..
